Morbidelli Days China 2025: Tradition, Innovation, and speed meet in Sichuan

At Morbidelli, we celebrated the international event “Morbidelli Days China 2025”, marking a new chapter in our journey with te inauguration of our new smart plant in Ziyang, in southwest China.

More than 500 guests from over 40 countries — including distributors, journalists, technicians, and strategic partners — took part in an experience that combined technological innovation, sporting spirit, and Italian heritage, reaffirming Morbidelli’s global renaissance within the world’s most advanced industrial ecosystem

Three Tracks, One Experience: The DNA of Speed

During Morbidelli Days China 2025, attendees participated in dynamic tests across three complementary circuits designed to evaluate power, agility, and control.

F2 Track – Power and Precision: a 3.2 km professional circuit where we tested the T1002V, T502X, T352X, and F352 models.

Kart Track – Urban Agility: a 1.1 km circuit for our C252V, N300, SC125LX, F200, and NZ250 models, ideal for simulating urban riding conditions.

Off-Road Track – Control and Adventure: a natural terrain with gravel, wood, and slope sections, where the T1002VX, T502X, T352X, and T250X PRO models stood out.

Each track allowed us to showcase the power, design, and safety technologies of our new lineup, demonstrating the balance between performance and control that defines us.

Innovation, Training and Global Community

The event included EFI technical seminars, engine practice sessions, and the presentation of the Morbidelli Connect App platform along with our new digital spare parts and aftersales portal.

We also shared special moments with our guests: an official opening ceremony, a gala with red carpet and photo wall, and an afterparty in Chengdu, where representatives from five continents joined us in celebrating this historic milestone.

A New Era for Morbidelli and Keeway Group

In just a decade, Keeway Group has evolved from an exporting company into a globally integrated industrial group, with a presence in Hungary, Italy, Spain, Indonesia, the United States, and China. Today, it employs more than 2,000 people and aims to exceed one million motorcycles annually before 2028.

“Ziyang represents our leap into a new era of integration and efficiency. Here, Italian design, Chinese innovation, and a global industrial vision converge to redefine the future of mobility,” said George Wang, President of Keeway Group.

The New Ziyang Plant: Engineering, Precision and Sustainability

Our new industrial complex in Ziyang was designed as the main production center for Morbidelli’s mid- and high-displacement models (from 250 cc onwards).

Covering more than 70,000 m², the plant integrates three main buildings dedicated to engines, chassis, and final assembly, along with a test track, offices, dormitories, and logistics areas.

“Our Ziyang plant represents the future of smart manufacturing: adaptable, fast, and sustainable. From here, we will export the new generation of Morbidelli motorcycles to the world,” stated George Wang.

Looking to the Future

We are proud to announce our return to international competitions, with participation in Moto2 and Moto3, the creation of the Reparto Corse Morbidelli, and a support program for distributors interested in joining local championships.

This step symbolizes the continuation of Giancarlo Morbidelli’s legacy, who achieved eight world championships between 1970 and 1982, and whose visionary spirit continues to guide us toward new horizons.

With the inauguration of our new headquarters in Bologna (Italy) — home to our Design, R&D and Aftersales Center — we consolidate our dual industrial base (Taizhou–Ziyang) and reaffirm our global commitment to becoming the most dynamic and innovative mobility company in the world.

Today, we offer more than 40 models, from urban scooters to high-displacement motorcycles, all Euro 5+ certified and developed under a single philosophy: performance, design and soul.
