Morbidelli’s global team recently visited the brand’s new production base in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province, China, gaining a firsthand look at the advanced manufacturing technologies and collaborative spirit that drive the production of Morbidelli motorcycles worldwide.
During the visit, the team explored the intelligent production systems that support Morbidelli’s motorcycles, from highly automated assembly lines to streamlined logistics and rigorous quality control processes. The facility also reflects the company’s ongoing investment in next-generation manufacturing technologies, including advanced electrical systems and components that support the future development of motorcycle engineering.
Located in one of China’s key industrial regions, the Taizhou production base also benefits from a strategic logistics environment. Nearby is the newly inaugurated Hailing Port inland container terminal, which opened on January 6, 2026, in the Hailing High-Tech Zone.
The port connects three national Class III waterways and currently operates five 1,000-ton berths, with a first-year throughput target exceeding 100,000 TEUs. Future development plans include direct river-sea shipping routes to Shanghai Yangshan Port, further strengthening the region’s international logistics capabilities.
More than just a technical tour, the visit also highlighted the importance of cross-functional teamwork. Throughout the day, team members exchanged insights with technicians, engaged in productive discussions on the production floor, and experienced firsthand the dedication of local colleagues. These interactions reinforced a shared sense of purpose and pride in the work that Morbidelli teams are carrying out globally.
